Ask Assistant: Order Siri Without Voice But With Activator Actions
If you have a specific question that you ask Siri a lot, then why bother asking her constantly when you can just have the question stored in iOS and automatically accessed whenever you feel like asking the question? That’s the idea behind a new free jailbreak tweak called Ask Assistant by iOS developer rjharris.
With Ask Assistant, you can choose five questions that you ask Siri a lot, such as “What is the weather like today?,” or perhaps, “How do I get home?,” and assign them to Activator actions. What this lets you do is invoke an Activator action to automatically ask a question without having to speak to Siri at all.
Your five questions are set via the Ask Assistant preferences pane in the Settings application (shown above). For example, if we were to set Question 1 to “What is the weather like today?” and assign Question 1 to double tapping on the Status Bar, then whenever we double-tap on the Status Bar, Siri will open up and automatically load the question “What is the weather like today?” with the answer to the question:

There are several situations where the tweak may come in handy, especially in situations where you have a question you ask all the time and you don’t want to talk to Siri because perhaps there is a lot of noise around you, or perhaps you’re in a situation where you need to be quiet. Whatever the case may be, if you're interested in giving the tweak a try, you will find it for free in Cydia’s BigBoss repository. Ask Assistant is compatible with iOS 5 and iOS 6, but requires Siri to be installed.
