As reported not long ago, the Galaxy S4 Zoom should resemble the Galaxy S4 Mini, with the big difference that it’s going to have a very capable 16MP camera (with optical zoom) on the back. Will that be enough to make the handset capable of competing with Nokia’s PureView smartphones? Probably yes. But we’ll see.

Samsung might release the Galaxy S4 Zoom in early June – first in black, then in a white version. There is no word on how much the device will cost.
In other Samsung news, the company’s latest 7 inch tablet – Galaxy Tab 3 – has been approved by the FCC. We’re talking about the SM-T210 here, so it’s the Wi-Fi-only edition of the tablet.
The Galaxy Tab 3 will be released around the world starting this month, possibly followed by more capable 8 inch and 11 inch versions. At least one of them should be of interest for a major US mobile carrier – we’ll let you know when details about this are unveiled.
