We have some great news on the Jailbreaking front today from none other that Planetbeing!
He has tweeted not long ago that the Evad3rs is working hard on the iOS 7 Untethered Jailbreak and that they may have all the pieces at this point.
For those of you who don’t know, the Evad3rs is the team of hackers responsible from the iOS 6.x Untethered Jailbreak that consists of Pod2G, Pimskeks, MuscleNerd and
He did warn, however, that he wasn’t 100% certain this was the case.
If it is though it means that the Evad3rs have in their hands all the exploits needed to Jailbreak iOS 7 Untethered. And will mean now all that will be required is to package it up into a publicly releasable Jailbreak software, beta test it and then release it to the world.
Assuming this is the real deal you will want to be careful updating to future versions of iOS 7 if you would like to eventually Jailbreak because Apple could patch one of the dependencies of the Jailbreak in its current state… and then you would be out of luck.
With that said this is some great news, and we will keep you updated as we hear more.
