Windows 10 is all the rage these days. For those who are excited about Windows 10′s aesthetics, a Windows 10 Transformation UX Theme Pack has been released and shall dress your Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1 in all the makeup required to walk the Windows 10 ramp.
There are a number of Windows 10 transformation packs out there but ‘UX’ pack is this package’s ability to make changes to your Windows installation without patching the system files, making the transformation pack less likely to cause system issues.
This new Windows 10 Transformation/UX Pack carry the same installation procedure be it on Windows XP or Windows 8.1. As with most transformation packs, this one takes you through the setup allowing you to choose the customizations you want made to your existing Windows, but if that confuses you, you can always go the default way, which should be fine for most novice users.
The setup integrates new themes, wallpapers, icons, fonts, sounds etc. along with various third party tools to emulate certain looks and functions of Windows 10, such as the new Start Menu. You might think that it’s the same that is to be found on previous version of Windows, but in reality it is the new Windows 10 Start Menu with tiles which gives Windows 8 and 8.1 users a good chance to experience the new look and feel of the OS without actually installing it.
No transformation pack would be complete till it offered a comprehensive ability to allow the user to roll back to the original settings, and this one is no different. It features a complete uninstall option to take you back to the previous state.
Windows 10 is currently available as a Technical Preview build for testing purposes only. If downloading and installing the Technical Preview is too much of a work for you, you can take the easier approach by downloading the transformation pack from here, something that you can easily remove later.

Google has officially announced the biggest change they've made to Google Maps since launching eight years ago. The new Google Maps provides you with a map that’s unique to you, always adapting to the task you want to perform.
Check out this video with more details...
Every click draws a new map highlighting the things that matter most
Like a friend drawing you a map to her favorite restaurant, with only the roads and landmarks you need to get there, the new Google Maps instantly changes to highlight information that matters most.

And the more you interact with the map, the better it gets. When you set your Home and Work locations, star favorite places, write reviews and share with friends, Google Maps will build even more useful maps with recommendations for places you might enjoy.

Easier to find the best local places
In addition to a customized map, we’ve also made it easier to uncover the best local gems. Search results are labeled directly on the map with brief place descriptions and icons that highlight business categories and other useful information – like restaurants that are recommended by your Google+ friends. Info cards provide helpful information such as business hours, and ratings and reviews so you can quickly decide where to eat, drink and play.
Amazing imagery for exploring the world
Of course, no map would be complete without amazing images for exploring the world. The new carousel gathers all Google Maps imagery in one spot enabling you to fly through cities, walk canyon trails, climb mountains, and even swim the oceans. And on a WebGL-enabled browser, like Google Chrome, the carousel is also where you'll find the Earth view which directly integrates the beautiful 3D experience from Google Earth into the new maps.

You can sign up for an invite to the new Google Maps at the link below...

iOS 6 Theme For Windows 7&8 Turns Your PC Into An iPhone Inspired Computer
The clear and beautiful iOS 6 interface help Apple and iOS devices success,  If you are a PC user, then it could be worthwhile checking out the iOS inspired theme that is now available for both Windows 8 and Windows 7 installations. Themes or Skin packs have often caused a great deal of division with PC users. Some individuals prefer to stay loyal to the native look and feel of their operating system and can’t ever imagine deviating from the manufacturer standard. On the other hand, there are some users who love the functionality provided with Windows but crave the visuals of OS X and iOS. It’s those who will gain the most satisfaction from these skin packs/themes.
The theme itself is named after Apple’s famous mobile operating system but it’s immediately evident that inspiration has also been taken from the fruit company’s desktop software. Downloading and installing the iOS 6 inspired visuals on Windows is fairly straightforward and involves little more than running through a standard installation process that most Windows based users will go through on a regular basis.
It is however worth noting that uninstalling themes or skin packs of this nature can sometimes prove to be a little problematic, and if anything goes wrong, can require a full operating system restore. Make sure you create a restore point in System Restore utility before going ahead with the install.
Check it out for yourself by downloading it from here.

របៀបដំឡើងWindows 8 នៅលើ Mac Using Boot Camp [មានការបង្រៀន]

For many Mac users, using Windows is a necessity, for running Windows apps and playing games that are unavailable for OS X. The recent release of the OS X 10.8.3 update introduced official support for Windows 8 in Boot Camp, meaning that it is now possible to dual-boot both operating systems on any Mac running OS X. And we have a complete guide on how to install Windows 8 on a Mac using Boot Camp running OS X 10.8.3, check it out after the jump.
What you will need:
  • A Mac running OS X 10.8.3 or later.  (download OS X 10.8.3 from here)
  • A full copy of Windows 8 (You can download Windows 8 from MSDN, TechNet, or DreamSpark. Also see our guide on how to make Windows 8 bootable USB flash drive, if you’re using a DVD, then skip). Upgrade versions are not supported.
  • At least 30GB of free disk space (in order to create a partition for Windows 8).
  • A spare USB drive where to save the Boot Camp drivers. An 8GB stick would be highly recommended.
Once you’ve got all you need, you are ready to begin installing Windows 8 on your Mac. Just in case something goes wrong, however, be sure to backup your Mac before getting started.
Step 1: From OS X, launch Boot Camp Assistant from Applications > Utilities. When the first screen launches, click Continue.
Step 2: On the next screen, unless you have the last version of your Boot Camp drivers downloaded elsewhere, tick both of the boxes: Download the latest Windows support software from Apple and Install Windows 7 or later version. Once you click Next, you will be prompted to insert a USB drive in order to download all of the relevant Windows drivers.
The download process can take several minutes depending on the speed of your Internet connection.

Step 3: Once all of the drivers have been downloaded on your USB drive, you will be given the option to choose how much space to allocate to your new Windows partition. At least 20GB is recommended, although you might need more if you plan on moving many files on the Windows partition.
Step 4: When prompted, reboot your Mac with your Windows 8 DVD / USB inserted. If all goes well, your computer should reboot from the Windows installation DVD or USB stick.
Step 5: From this point on, you should follow the regular Windows setup instructions. When selecting the partition, be sure to select the one labeled “BOOTCAMP”, which should be of a similar size to the one you set on Step 3.
The long installation process: for the next several minutes, Windows 8 will be installed on your Windows partition. Be patient during this process and do not attempt to shut down or reboot your Mac.
Step 6: Once your Mac restarts for the second time, you are ready to begin installing the required Apple drivers. Insert the USB drive that you used earlier and run the setup program.
Simply follow the on-screen wizard and you will be ready to go.

Congratulations, you have now set up Windows 8 on your Mac. You can now easily dual boot OS X and Windows 8 on your computer.
