A new video reveals that the iPhone 5s Touch ID fingerprint sensor fits the leaked iPad 5 front panel perfectly.
Unboxtherapy took apart their gold iPhone 5s to transplant the fingerprint sensor into the alleged iPad 5 front panel. It fit perfectly while an older home button did not.
Apple is widely expected to release the iPad 5 this month but whether the device will feature the new Touch ID fingerprint sensor is unconfirmed.
